CRSC Guidance
Combat-Related Special Compensation (CRSC) is a Department of Defense program that provides tax-free monthly payments to eligible military retirees who have combat-related disabilities. It restores a portion of retired pay that is offset when receiving VA disability compensation.
The Veteran Reach Back Group (VRBG) assists veterans by offering guidance on the eligibility criteria, required documentation, and step-by-step process for applying for CRSC through their respective branches of service.
